Movement practices (yes, Exercise) can be profoundly stress relieving as well as build physical strength, stamina, mental clarity, and emotional equanimity. Physical exertion reduces the detrimental effects of stress hormones by helping to diminish them in the physiology. More and more studies are showing the therapeutic effects of Yoga for Health and Wellness.
